Cape Cod & Islands Physician Council (CCPIC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting physicians, physician assistants (PAs), nurse practitioners (NPs), and healthcare professionals through connection, advocacy, education, and wellness initiatives.

Membership is open to healthcare professionals across Cape Cod.
Our Beginning
In 2019, concerned physicians from the Cape Cod Hospital Bylaws Committee came together to address growing challenges affecting healthcare professionals, including burnout, professional strain, and physician retention on Cape Cod. This effort led to the creation of the Cape Cod Hospital Medical Staff Well-Being Committee and the launch of the CCHC Mentor Program, helping strengthen professional support and well-being.
Our Growth
To expand our impact across the region, the Cape Cod & Islands Physician Council (CCPIC) was established in 2022. We broadened our mission to serve physicians, physician assistants (PAs), nurse practitioners (NPs), and healthcare professionals throughout Cape Cod and the Islands. In 2023, CCPIC officially became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Our Mission Today
Today, CCPIC fosters connection, advocacy, education, and wellness for healthcare professionals across the region. Through events, peer support, professional development, and community engagement, we help healthcare professionals thrive while strengthening the quality and continuity of care for the communities we serve.
